For nearly 90 years, the Greater Washington Urban League has worked to expand economic opportunity, strengthen families, advance equity, and address the barriers that prevent our communities from achieving lasting economic stability and success.

Our members are essential to advancing this mission and carrying the movement forward. From emerging professionals and entrepreneurs to business leaders and community advocates, GWUL membership brings together people who believe that progress is most meaningful when it creates opportunities for others. Membership opens doors to valuable relationships, influential networks, and opportunities to have a voice in shaping our region’s future. But its greatest value lies in what we can accomplish together, using our collective talents, resources, and influence to break down barriers, expand access to opportunity, and ensure that progress reaches every corner of our communities.

Join the Greater Washington Urban League and be part of the work to ensure our communities have every opportunity to flourish and thrive.
