Marketing and Communication Specialist
 The Marketing & Communication Specialist will assist in designing and refining marketing strategies to engage prospective audiences. The incumbent will participate in creating marketing proposals and comprehensive reports. In addition to organizing and executing marketing events to elevate the brand across the targeted audience. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the production and dissemination of marketing collateral, across multiple marketing channels. The incumbent will be recognized as the subject matter expert (SME) as it relates to social media.Â
Salary: $65,000-$70,000
Dad Advocate
 The Dad Advocate (Case Manager) will play an integral role in providing comprehensive support to Black fathers and their families, guiding them through a range of social services and resources to enhance their well-being and empower them in their role as fathers. This position involves conducting intake assessments, developing individualized care plans, and offering advocacy to ensure clients have access to critical services, such as housing, employment, legal assistance, and mental health support. The Dad Advocate (Case Manager) will work closely with clients to address barriers to success, including systemic challenges, and offer ongoing support through regular follow-ups, case coordination, and resource referrals. In this role, the Dad Advocate (Case Manager) will work closely with the fathers to guide them through program services, support them in taking the necessary steps for program completion, and keep them connected to the program through the alumni group. Additionally, the role includes providing education on parenting, fatherhood, and emotional well-being, as well as advocating for the needs of Black fathers within the broader community. A commitment to social justice, strong communication skills, and an ability to build trusting relationships with clients are essential in this role.Â
Salary: $60,000-$63,000
Senior Program Manager
 The Senior Program Manager & Social Worker will play a critical role in transforming and shaping the lives of fathers and their families. This role involves developing and implementing program plans, and timelines, leading a multidisciplinary team, managing client cases, and ensuring that services are delivered in compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Key responsibilities include coordinating community outreach efforts, assessing client needs, designing and executing intervention strategies, managing the program evaluation, and maintaining relationships with external partners and stakeholders. The Senior Program Manager & Social Worker will also provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff, monitor program performance through data analysis, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, problem-solving, case management, project management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate complex cases and advocate for clients across various systems.Â
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000
Family Therapist
 The Family Therapist will play a critical role in transforming and shaping the lives of Black fathers and their families by providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering healthier family dynamics. This role involves conducting assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each family. The Family Therapist will work closely with the fathers to address issues such as trauma, mental health disorders, substance abuse, and behavioral challenges. Additionally, the therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic support and progress tracking. Strong therapeutic skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work with diverse family structures are essential for success in this role.Â
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000
Social Worker Assistant
 The Social Worker Assistant will assist in providing support to individuals, families, and communities through direct practice and programmatic activities, under the supervision of licensed social workers and program managers. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in case management, client assessments, and the development of intervention plans. The Social Worker Assistant will participate in facilitating support groups, conducting community outreach, and assisting in the delivery of social services, particularly for vulnerable populations. The role also includes engaging in ongoing learning and development, while contributing to the organization’s mission of empowering individuals and families. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice, a desire to grow in clinical social work practice, and an interest in working with diverse communities.Â
Salary: $20/hour (part-time)
Lead Mental Health Therapist
The lead therapist will provide intensive clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified behavioral health diagnoses. The Lead therapist will assist with the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis. In addition, services are provided using client-centered and family-centered approaches and delivered through intensive, time-limited, and goal-specific interventions.
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Data Visualization Specialist
We are seeking a creative and analytical Data Visualization and Storytelling Specialist to transform educational data into compelling stories that inspire action, inform decision-making, and engage diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in data analysis, education, and storytelling to craft narratives that highlight program outcomes, student achievements, and the impact of educational initiatives. This role bridges the gap between data and education, making complex information accessible and meaningful to educators, administrators, donors, and stakeholders.
Salary: $65,000-$70,000
Case Manager
The Case Manager is part of the Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) which offers short-term rental subsidies and unit inspection services to families at risk of homelessness. Under general supervision, the Case Manager is responsible for working closely with the Senior Case Manager in coordinating a number of client-facing services around rental payments, client rental contributions payments, inspections, or any landlord-related issues. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that information on clients and landlords participating in the program is accurate and that all pertinent data is uploaded into the designated data system in a timely manner throughout the program participation. The Case Manager will need to provide one-on-one assistance to clients and landlords participating in the program and coordinate and troubleshoot any issues pertaining to landlord relationships, inspections, or rental payments.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000
Program Administrator
The Greater Washington Urban League is offering an Elevating Black Fatherhood demonstration project in partnership with the United Way of the National Capital Area (United Way NCA) to provide new comprehensive services for fathers with child support arrears while leveraging existing supports provided through its Financial Empowerment Center. The project will support Black Fathers in Washington, DC to improve the economic well-being and health of hundreds of families in the District, now and in future generations. After a four-month ramp-up phase, the project will serve 150 fathers and their families over a 2-year period. Â The fathers will receive ongoing support and resources to fulfill their financial obligations while improving their overall well-being with a financial health emphasis. The program will provide ongoing support such as healing circles, financial therapy, workforce development, parenting education, legal support, housing navigation, emergency assistance, peer support groups, individual and family therapy, and more. It will serve as a place for fathers to regain their financial footing, catch up on child support arrears, build stronger familial bonds, and develop their own social and emotional well-being and that of their families.
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Senior Program Manager in developing and implementing program plans, and timelines. The Program Administrator will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities of the program and performing direct service as necessary to meet program goals. The incumbent will also facilitate the coordination and execution of the program’s educational offerings, outreach efforts, and related administrative tasks.
Salary: $65,000-$75,000
FRSP Customer Care Specialist
The Customer Care Specialist is a key member the Rapid Rehousing for Families Program (FRSP) team, program that provides short-term rental assistance to families at risk of homelessness. The Customer Care Specialist works under direct supervision of the Associate Program Director; and performs a myriad of clerical and customer support functions related to clients and landlords participating in the program, including receiving inquiries via phone and email from program participants, triaging the requests and escalating for resolution to the appropriate program staff, inputs data into designated systems and keeps the program team abreast of any outstanding issues experienced by the program participants. The incumbent is expected to be responsive to client and vendor communication and promote a professional office environment.Â
Salary: $48,000 – $55,000
Lead Service Coordinator - Career MAP
The Lead Service Coordinator will spend much of their time in the office on a Hybrid Schedule, completing their daily programmatic requirements and tasks and leading their team of Service Coordinators. The Lead Service Coordinator will also support their assigned caseload/members directly while coordinating the overall care of each assigned individual head of the household and their family members. This role requires leading a team while providing guidance and oversight of program service delivery. Some administrative duties are aligned with this role based on the request of your assigned team, their assigned members on their caseload, and/or on their behalf. This role also requires the ability to assess members’ individual and family needs and maintain support for all members of the household not limited to linkage to the available services and resources. This role requires facilitating member/client services. Particularly ensuring better member and family outcomes, better compliance with sound advice, and better member self-management. This role is responsible for the wellbeing of every member and their families residing in their household and further includes guidance through the processes and regulations related to their individual and family cases while adhering to typical duties.​
Salary: $68,000 – $70,000
Career Specialist - Career MAP
The Career Specialist will spend much of their time in the office on a Hybrid Schedule, completing their daily programmatic requirements, and tasks, and supporting the Career Mobility Action Plan (Career MAP) program participants and Career MAP Service Coordinators. The Career Specialist is responsible for supporting program participants in creating a comprehensive employability plan that can be achieved by the end of the program. The primary responsibilities attached to this position include workshop facilitation, career coaching, job placement, advocacy, career planning, workforce event planning, relationship building, and engagement documentation. In addition to providing superior customer service to ensure program participants receive the services needed.Â
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
